Free Custom Cross-Site Lookup Column Add-On for WSS v3

The Cross-Site Lookup Column provides users with a simple means for adding Cross-Site Lookup fields to any List within the same WSS v3 Site Collection.

To download and use this free add-on for WSS v3, follow this steps.

1. Download the zip archive

2. Unzip the archive and run the included install.bat.

3. From WSS v3, browse to any List and choose List Settings.

5. From the List Settings page, select Create Column.

6. On the Create Column page, choose the Cross-Site Lookup column type.

7. Select any Site in the Site-Collection to lookup data from. Then Pick the appropriate lookup list, and lookup column.

To take a look at the new Cross-Site Lookup column in action, create a new item in your list.
